About
For over 25 years, Terry Barker has striven to make her clients’ home or office a true reflection of who they are, creating environments where their lives are lived, memories are made, work is done, and successes are celebrated.
She has a degree in advertising and marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and a degree in interior design from TCU in Ft. Worth. She also has extensive continuing education in universal design, green building and design, Feng Shui, outdoor room design, and numerous other topics. Terry was a licensed interior designer in the State of Texas (which requires all interior designers to be licensed) and a board member of the Austin chapter of the American Society of Interior Design.
Her work has been featured in several publications, including Stone Dimensions and Austin Homes and Gardens. She has worked with clients not only in Colorado and Texas but in Arizona, New Mexico, Tennessee, and London, England.
Terry also has a strong desire to make a positive influence in her community. She has provided pro bono design services for several non-profits and currently is a board member of Recovery Café Longmont.
The key to Terry’s success as a designer is getting to know her clients, listening to their desires and dreams for the spaces in which they live and work, and meeting their design needs, no matter how great or small, to the very best of her ability.
